About

Fiona Anne Henderson was born on 4th July 1972 to… No this is not my obituary!

I like walks along the beach, romantic dinners and snuggling in front of an open fire licking chocolate… Oops- wrong site!

This is a blog about me as I discover who I am and what I stand for as a born again feminist, greenie, mum, student, teacher, cook, baker, ex-vicar’s wife (or is that vicar’s ex-wife?) and gin connoisseur. I figure that I might as well bore others with my adventures, ramblings and opinions.

Currently living in Cairns, FNQ, I am slowly finishing my honours thesis in education looking at the way pre-service teachers see themselves as potential teachers of science- basically looking at self-efficacy within a poststructural framework analysing both qualitative and quantitative data. I just need to get writing. I am also working in retail to pay the bills, but at the same time love my job most of the time. I&J (the fish fingers!) take up time too, but also add to the richness that is my life. Oh and I have a MIML™ (man in my life) and he is made of awesome and win!
