Well kinda! When I joined RSVP I received quite a few ‘kisses’ from guys who listed that their major hobbies were camping and other derivatives. One guy actually said he liked heading out camping and ‘rootin, shootin and tootin.’

Now I am not that much of a camping person, but also admit I have never really tried. I have been up Central Australia twice and stayed in pyramid tents both times and loved it, but don’t own a tent and wouldn’t know how to dig a dunny or anything!

When I met MIML™ I joked that he didn’t mention on his profile his love for camping and shooting and we have joked that we will have to campin’ so we can go shootin’. Well this weekend we are doing the campin’ bit! We are heading out to the Undara Lava Tubes with the kids and my Mum for the night and staying in their tent village. I know, they have facilities and we will be eating in the restaurant, but still, it is camping!

And it will be cold! Excellent! Oh and as for the rootin’, shootin’ and tootin’, no doubt there will be tootin’ competitions all day and night with the kids. What is it about farting they find so funny? Better remember to pack the gas masks…
